Dolores Huerta, Feminist Activist and labor leader, helped to create the United Farm Workers and helped to lead the grape workers strike of 1965
Each 11" x 17" offset and letterpress print features a revolutionary figure who spoke truth and was ignored, including Fannie Lou Hamer, Jo Ann Robinson, Dolores Huerta and the Ashanti warrior.
Printed at Bidon Community Print & Design Studio in Providence, RI in a course taught by Dr. Marco McWilliams and Jacques Bidon himself, each 11" x 17" print, created using offset and letterpress techniques, highlights a revolutionary figure—famous or unsung—who warned the world and was ignored.
